Apple MacBook Pro-17-Inch review
Apple MacBook Pro has some cool features like Aluminum “unibody” case, enhanced LED-backlit display and longer-lasting battery are the special features of Apple MacBook Pro(17-inch display), it weights just 6.6 pounds. The body is just and inch thick with 15.5×10.5-inches, where it can be used on the go.
The ports are located on the left side and includes MagSafe power, Gigabit Ethernet, Firewire 800, USB 2.0 ports, Mini DisplayPort, Audio in, Audio out, ExpressCard/34 slot, and Battery indicator lights which gives you an idea of how much battery life is left. Right side of the body security-lock and the slot-loading optical drive. Its lacking of any memory-card slots, but SD-card slot is now available in 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pro Models.

The case is held shut with a magnetic latch, makes opening the lid easily without compromising the durability of the body. It has resolution of 1,920×1,200, allows for high definition video at full 1,900×1,080 resolution, it is perfect to watching the HD video on your laptop. It comes with a glossy screen, you can upgrade to antiglare screen by paying $50 extra. The high resolution screen makes this an attractive machine for the designers. Five built-in speaker sounds good with lower volumes, but it gets a bit strained at higher levels.

Keyboard deck is generously sized, button less touch pad with a glass surface, the entire touch pad one the MacBook Pro acts as a button, it allows you to press anywhere to operate. You can use two fingers to right click. The touch pad allows to use a four-finger swipe to show your desktop, the now-requisite multi-touch functionality is built in here as well. There is an iSight camera at the top center of the LCD with respectable performance, it can perform well in dim lighting.

This was evident in our Cinebench 10 testing, which it scores almost 1,000 points from 5,862 to 6,777. The security-lock and the slot-loading optical drive are on the right side of the MacBook Pro.
