Samsung ergonomic SMX-C14 and SMX-c10 Camcoder

Samsung Electronics America launches the Samsung SMX-C14 and Samsung SMX-C10, two new ergonomically designed, compact digital camcorders. The new Samsung SMX-C14 and SMX-C10 camcorders also feature Samsung’s stylish Touch of Colorä finish. With ToC design, a hint of color is naturally blended into the deep black body for an attractive crystalline appearance.

The new Samsung SMX-C14 video camera features 16GB of internal Samsung flash memory and is expandable via an SD/SDHC memory card slot. In addition, with H.624 compression feature, the camcorder is capable of recording more than 6 hours of video directly to the camcorder’s internal memory. The Samsung SMX-C10 camcorder does not feature internal memory and requires the use of SD/SDHC media. Both the Samsung SMX-C14 and SMX-C10 camcorders also offer substantial battery life, providing more than two hours and forty minutes of record time on a single charge.

Both models shoot video at a high-definition resolution of 720 by 480 pixels, and also feature a 10X optical zoom, image stabilization, a 230,000-dot, and a swiveling 2.7-inch LCD. Still images are captured at 800×600, but increases to 1600×1200 by interpolation. Other features include time-lapse recording that enables you to record images at preset intervals that range from every 1 second to 30 seconds. Samsung ships both with software that lets you connect to computers via USB and edit and play video without installing software on the PC. They also offer a one-button straight-to-YouTube capability.

The Samsung SMX-C14 and SMX-C10 digital camcorders will be available in July 2009. Prices are not yet available.

Motorola Launches FR6000 and FR68 in India

Motorola Launches FR series handsets FR6000 and FR68 Mobile computer, which combines Computer and Mobile phone into one. This is the first time Motorola launched this device in India.

Motorola FR68 has high resolution 3.2 MP auto-focus color camera. Marvell Xscale PXA312 624MHz processor in both devices. It includes Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 OS in this device makes ease of integration, flexible software development platform, enhanced security features and mobile messaging. It was designed to withstand and kind of exterior damage happened by sand, dust and water. both devices has various features like 1D laser scanner, Bluetooth, Wireless LAN, and IrDA. The company offers service from the day of the purchase and ensures the damage/repair including the damage of keypads, broken displays or to any internal/external parts.
It can be operated with more local languages. Both devices are help to boost the productivity of small/medium/large scale enterprises in the areas such as logistics, health care, manufacturing, transportation, utilities, retails and public safety. These two phones are expected to be approximately Rs.70,000 to Rs.1,00,000 ($1400 to $2000).

ASUS launches P835 PDA Phone

ASUS has launched new P835 PDA Phone in India, designed for business professionals. ASUS P835 has 3.5? inch touch screen and WVGA resolution, claims fast download speed of HSUPA 7.2 Mbps . It’s designed to get the latest information from the Internet. It has Opera Mobile, which gives faster web experience.

ASUS P835 runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 Qualcomm 7201A 528MHz processor. It contains 4GB Internal memory with 288MB SDRAM and 256MB ROM, and has expansion slot for MicroSD card.

ASUS P835 has additional ability to work as a Wi-Fi Access point. It capable of share High-speed HSPA data or Internet connection over Wi-Fi with upto 10 devices, such as laptops or PDA phones. It gives MP3 player which supports different music formats and video playback feature. It also provides talktime of upto 6hours with 3G, 7hours with 2G, a standby time upto 350 hours and 300hours with 3G and 2G respectively.

There is no announced of release date and price of ASUS P835 WVGA PDA mobile phone.
